Willow Street Church Intern Program
Are you an undergraduate or graduate student in the Lancaster area looking to deepen your faith and gain professional experience? We support up to two interns every semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer), offering a commitment of 5-7 hours per week to engage in various aspects of church life and ministry.
Our program provides diverse experiences across areas like children’s ministry, youth programs, music, preaching, worship, social media, historical research, outreach, justice ministries, and community engagement.
Summer 2025 Interns
Lexi Phillips, Children and Music Intern
Lexi Phillips is beginning her second semester with Willow Street Church as an intern. Lexi’s enthusiasm, dedication, and incredible talents left a lasting impression on our community. Lexi offers her skills in several key areas, including children's ministry, music, and more.
Her passion for nurturing our young ones and her love for worship have already made a significant impact, and we’re excited to see what she has in store for us this time around. Lexi is a sophomore music education major at Millersville University.
Sarah Casler, History Intern
Sarah Casler is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education at Millersville University. After graduation, she plans to obtain a masters degree in history.
In her free time, she likes to go on hikes, read historical books, and play with her two dogs. She also likes to volunteer at local museums, historical sites, and historical societies. She is currently helping plan Millersville’s America 250 celebration.
Her favorite place to visit is the Historic Triangle (Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg) in Virginia.
