K-Groups Ministry

The "K" stands for koinonia, which is "fellowship" in New Testament Greek.  K-Groups are Willow Street Church's expression of a warm, family environment in which we can fulfill the “one another” commands of Scripture while growing together in mutual discipleship and encouragement.  K-Groups provide our church body opportunities to connect as a Christian community, to have more intimate fellowship and to deepen our relationships with one another while developing our skills in hospitality, teaching, and missionary care.

K-Groups are a meaningful way to get to know others within our church family, to encourage each other as disciples as we seek to be more like Christ, and to shepherd the congregation of Willow Street Church more faithfully. Each of our various K-Groups is autonomous, determining when and how frequently it’s convenient for their members to meet and what they wish their activities to include. Some groups focus on service to the congregation or surrounding community. Others view it as a time of Bible study and prayer. Still others use the opportunity to get together for social gatherings or cultural outings. In other words, there is a K-Group for everyone!
